Tennis line in Hanko high schools
Welcome to the brand new tennis line in Hanko high schools started in the fall of 2022 !!
This is the perfect program for youngsters interested in receiving first-class academic education during their development as tennis players on the path to professionalism.
Here is some basic information about HTK High School Program
Players:
- Competitive Juniors (U16-18)
Tennis training sessions:
- Morning court training during school hours four times a week 90 min
- After school court training 5 times a week 90-120 min
Physical training:
- 5 sessions a week (60 minutes workout)
- Full access to Regatta Spa: Gym, Sauna and Pool area.
Suppot & player’s management:
- Video Analysis
- Tournament calendar
- Accompaniment to tournaments (if possible, to be arranged)
- Travel organization
- Discounts in equipment and accessories
- Contrats with sponsors (if qualify)
- Physiotherapy (optional)
Accommodation:
- HTK helps in finding the right place to stay in town.
Facilities:
- 10 Clay courts, HTK Stadium
- Brand new Tennis Hall (4 plexi) REGATTA COURTS, completed in March 2023
- 4 outdoor plexipave courts

Competitions:
- In Hanko, high-quality competitions such us National Class Tournaments, TEHO Sport Tour, JGP and ITF are organized regularly throughout the year (approx. 15 per year) by HTK.
- Participation in league games during the winter and summer is possible for HTK’s representative teams

HEAD COACH PROFILE
Fernando Famoso is a former tennis player and currently an international tennis coach.
Since the age of 4 he has been in contact with the sport and grew up during a golden era for South American tennis, in those years the historical players of the well-known ”legion” of Argentine tennis were formed.
During his development he shared competitions with players such as Franco Squilari and Agustin Calleri, among others…he also had the opportunity to train with other tennis players of those years such as Gaston Gaudio, former French Open champion
As a junior player he traveled to the United States to continue competing in Futures tournaments and USTA competitions.
At the age of 24 he begins to take his first steps as an assistant coach and sparring. Two years later he decides to finish his playing career to dedicate himself to teaching and training tennis players
He takes numerous training courses and obtains the professional coach level 3, awarded by the Argentine Tennis Association
He has specialized in development, high performance training and sport management.
In 2009 he opened his own teaching and training center in Argentina, which today continues to receive tennis players of all ages and levels in the city of Buenos aires.
Prior to his arrival at Finland he has worked based in Marbella, Spain.
He is now part of the Hanko Tennis team, from where he will continue to share his knowledge, experience and passion with the community.
